Should i trust triss witcher 2

What did you guys choose when it came to Saskia? I know some people chose Roche's path and wouldn't have the opportunity to cure her. I personally am not sure if Aedirn and Vergen could really survive as a free nation without Saskia's leadership and charisma.

Had she survived, they might've had a much better chance, even if she was spellbound although leaving her that way would still give me just as much doubt as I have now. That's what I'm thinking anyway, and in the wake of a Nilfgaardian invasion, I'm curious to see how even that morsel of choice can have its consequences. But that's just me. Let me know if I've forgotten any details.

Such a missed opportunity. I completed the game 2 times and I am on my 3rd playthrough. When you are on Iorweths Path and go rescue Triss, you won't have the opportunity to cure Saskia, but the Loge don't know how its called in english will be reestablished. If you rescue Phillipa you will get the opportunity to get an enchanted dagger which will cure Saskia. Triss will be rescued by letho, but then a progrom against witches an sorceresses will begin and the Loge won't survive Triss is safe though.

What we know form the last cutscene and form W3, Temeria won't survive, so rescuing Anais with Roche is not nesssecary, because Temeria won't survive. In my opinion Saskia could really help Aedirn survive, but i don't know waht will happen with the Loge, Kaedwen, Redaniaand so on.

We will know in 2 days, when W3 releases. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Jill Sandwich ; Start by visiting Philippa Eilhart at her house in Vergen. She'll tell you about a drunkard who may have recently seen her.

Visit the drunk at the inn and you'll have to bribe him with oren to hear his story. He describes Triss and Letho falling out of the sky in a nearby gully. Letho left Triss to whatever fate awaited her, which apparently was a meeting with a troll. The man knows nothing more, but you can head to the ravines that he mentioned now to see what you can find for yourself.

Head outside of the city as indicated on your on-screen radar. You'll have to pass through the burnt village, where elves are guarding, then head downhill and start sharply left along some ravines that eventually wind back toward the right.

There, you'll meet a troll. If you talk to him nicely, he'll repeat a story similar to what you heard at the inn from the drunk dwarf. Then you can promise to find his wife for him, and not to harm her. Continue onward from there, as indicated by the on-screen arrow. You'll face some harpies in a ravine. There are a lot of them, so fight carefully and use magic to keep them at bay so that you don't have to fight too many at once. When you have killed the harpies, continue along the ravine and you should soon come to another troll.

This is the female one, surrounded by mercenaries. You can kill either her or the mercenaries, depending on who you would like to aid you later in the game. There's more in it for you if you spare the troll, but do whatever you like.

You'll get the desired ribbon either way. Take the ribbon back to Philippa's house in Vergen. If you are hoping to solve the With Flickering Heart side quest, you should also make sure to do so before talking to Philippa, or it will fail. If you haven't tended to some other tasks first specifically, the Subterranean Life quest , you won't find her in her home.

Otherwise, she'll be waiting there and a scene follows before your efforts to find Triss are temporarily abandoned in favor of more pressing matters you'll return to it soon enough and the Royal Blood story quest is updated. After you advance that quest as far as you can at present, it will be time to check in with Philippa again. When you get near her house, a brief scene unfolds.

Philippa will explain that you need to pass through the spectral mist if you want to find Triss. You'll have help as you do so. Philippa promises to guide you on your expedition. Head out of Vergen now and pass through the burned village. Beyond that, take a right at the intersection that the elves are guarding and start through the mist. As promised, the amulet that you have in your possession will make crossing relatively easy. The familiar owl will accompany you, plus you don't actually have that far to travel.

Make your way slowly, keeping near the owl and slashing apart any enemies that get too close for comfort. As was the case the last time you went through the mist with the owl, wraiths like to appear and circle around the owl.

When they're present, move around the wring of spectral forms and chop them apart with your silver sword so that you can press onward. The draugnir enemies also should be actively destroyed, but otherwise you'll mostly pass through the mist without incident. When you reach the far side, Philippa will say that she cannot go further because Dethmold may sense her presence.

You're on your own again. Start in the direction indicated by the arrow on your on-screen map. You'll head along a ravine and come across a corpse. When you search the corpse, you find a mysterious figurine. Your discovery is almost immediately followed by the arrival of Vernon Roche with a few of his men by his side. Talk to him and explain that you're looking for Triss. The conversation is a tense one, but in the end he'll offer you two suggestions for how you can find what you need.

You can either try a stealthy approach by heading along some canyons to your right to sneak into the camp, or you can battle some monsters in a tunnel. Unless you live for stealth, the tunnel is definitely a good route to follow. Start off by following in the direction that Roche and his men travel. You'll arrive at some tents that are being used by Madame Carole and her lovely ladies. She's likely seated outside, on a bench.

Talk to her and then ask to talk to her. She'll agree, for a fee. Tell her that you'd like to know how you could get inside the camp. She charges quite the hefty fee, but if you pay up she will tell you that the entrance is inside the tent.

Head inside the tent and check the back room. A trap door is open. Drop through the opening, then make your way through the short series of tunnels beyond.

You'll have to head through a doorway, then explore some cells to find an opening in the floor that you can drop through to reach a lower tunnel. Once you're in that tunnel, follow the most direct route. There's nothing of interest along any side passageways. Along the main route, you'll have to battle a bullvore and some rotfiends, but they're easy to kill with the gear you should have at your disposal by now.

This made the Lodge lose a chunk of their trust for Triss as she stayed with Geralt longer. Besides, it would also seem that she was never really into the Lodge's plans. It might seem that Triss' romance with Geralt officially started in the games but it has been brewing for a long time. Triss was already eyeing Geralt in the books and was extremely jealous of Yennefer. Liking someone and pursuing them-- even making advances on them despite their being committed to someone else is just toxic behavior on Triss' part.

She was just plain obsessed with Geralt and the happiness Yennefer felt while with him. One could argue that Geralt's love for Yennefer isn't even genuine since its roots were traced back with a wish granted by a Djinn. This makes Geralt's attachment with Yennefer appear less authentic or natural. Triss, on the other hand, really liked Geralt. The games made Geralt like Triss back thank you, amnesia.

It's more organic that way minus the manipulation and the omission part but keep in mind that Triss has loved Geralt long before Yennefer even disappeared. Turns out Triss did practice a bit sorceress duress in order to seduce Geralt with magic back in the books. Triss supposedly enchanted Geralt and the two of them had a short tryst but Geralt decided to break it off as she only saw Triss as a friend. The likely wore off or it never worked in the first place and Geralt simply just didn't feel it.

However, there's no denying Triss' rather desperate attempt to ensnare Geralt. Needless her decision to do that drove a wedge between her and Yennefer. Sid was born, did some stuff, then decided to become a writer.

He finds respite in the sweet embrace of mass media escapism after having risked his life too many times as a journalist covering warzones and depressed areas. Nowadays he mostly risks his bladder as he tries to hold his urine waiting for those precious post-credits scenes at the movies or trying to kill Souls-like bosses.
