The cheap leatherette I had in my first car I bought is now being rebranded as vegan leather.
Yet another way for them to cut corners on automobiles. Having to heat and cool seats is stupid. They are easier to take care of and last longer. No one has mentioned that animals are slaughtered just for the leather. The meat is NOT used and the tannin process the most toxic.
I Believe that the meat is, in almost all cases, used as food.
